Are you a Python Software Developer who is looking for the challenge of doing temporary assignments on a secondment (consultancy) basis with well-known companies such as Heineken, Bol.com, Ahold, Philips, KPN, ABN AMRO, Rabobank, ING, PWC, VodafoneZiggo, Leaseplan, Athlon International, Randstad Holding, etc then we are looking for you!

Your assignments:

The assignments with our customers are at least 6 months to a year with an option to extend. Since we have a very diverse package of clients and every client has different complex projects or software development issues, every assignment will be different. Although Yacht operates nationally you will join the team responsible for the IT clients in the Randstad region. To give you an example, we have Bol.com in Utrecht, Heineken in Amsterdam, and KPN in Rotterdam.

If a client from another region has an interesting opportunity, for example, ASML or Philips in the Southern part of the Netherlands, we will ask you first if you like the assignment and if you are willing to travel to the location of the client. Although due to Covid almost every client prefers to work with a Hybrid model meaning that most of the time you will work remotely. We prefer a travel time of 1 to 1,5 hours from door to work for our professionals when the client expects you to work at the office (could be 2 or 3 days a week.) This will of course be discussed with you since you will never be forced to accept an assignment!

Other opportunities:

Although you will be hired by the IT Randstad region team you will have the possibility to do assignments for the clients of our other IT teams.

• 
  We have a banking unit that is responsible for clients like ABN AMRO, Rabobank, and ING.
• Our IT South team is responsible for clients like ASML, Philips, VDL, and Argenta
• Then we have the IT NON-profit team who are responsible for clients like the Government, Ministries, Municipalities, and other non-profit organizations like TNO, UWV, or the Belastingdienst (tax authorities).

What do we expect from you to join Yacht?

• You have at least 3 years of practical work experience in Python in a corporate environment.
• You have the persona to act as a consultant which means you have strong stakeholders management skills
• You are willing to learn more every day and are willing to share your expertise with others

You preferably also have experience with:

• Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker
• You have experience with Django
• Fullstack development ( Angular, React or Vuejs)

Since Yacht will be your employer we will give you a permanent contract with a trial period of 2 months.

Before you get hired there will be 2 interviews and the possibility of an assessment. We have the ideology to finish this process within 2,5 weeks.
